Testimonials of school Events

Busy Bees
The wheelchair basketball was absolutely amazing!  The children loved it and we were so surprised at how quickly they picked it up. The thing I really loved was how inclusive it was ~ everyone was able to succeed at it and as you know we were absolutely blown away when Austin joined in.  It enabled us to see a side to him that we haven't seen before and the look of pure excitement and pleasure on his face is something we won't forget in a hurry.  His mum was also overwhelmed by the video ~ thank you for enabling it to happen ~
Year 1.
The children were very excited to see all the wheelchairs in the hall as I hadn’t told them what we were going to do.  Kevin’s manner and approach with the children was very calm, but firm ensuring all children were safe.  We had one child who was very upset at the thought of having a go, but his suggestions of how to coax her round worked brilliantly and she did manage it in the end!

TEACHER :-

How Kevin organised the session was fair and fun with the children learning how to manoeuvre a wheelchair before progressing on to carrying and Move  with the ball.
I would highly recommend this session and all of us learnt a great deal, the children keep asking when we are doing it again.  Thank you.
